Simple Dog Training Tip
When you are out walking your dog,
and he is pulling in front of you,
just turn quickly and walk the other
way.
What you are doing here is getting your
dog's attention. If you keep changing
directions on him, with out telling him
or begging him to stay near you, he
will learn that he needs to pay attention
to you and not be doing his own thing
when you are out walking.
When you change directions on him without
letting him know what you are going to do,
it makes him take notice. If you are
consistent in doing this, he will soon
be at your side because he won't know
what you are going to do next. This
way, you are in charge, not your dog.
It is important that he knows you are
in charge. Just by a simple change of
direction, you can achieve that.
Neat, huh?!
